Property-Wide Managed Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi that works in every unit on day one.
ResidentFi designs, installs, and operates a single enterprise-grade wireless network across your entire property. Residents connect the moment they move in, with no modem, no installer appointment, and no call to a cable company. Your staff never troubleshoots an access point again.
What property-wide managed Wi-Fi is
Managed Wi-Fi replaces the patchwork of individual cable modems and consumer routers with one professionally engineered network owned and operated for the whole property. Fiber or dedicated bandwidth enters the building, a wired backbone carries it to every floor, and an enterprise access point in each unit delivers coverage that reaches the balcony and the bedroom closet. The same network extends to the pool deck, the fitness center, the leasing office, and the parking garage.
Why owners and operators choose it
Residents now rank reliable internet above almost every other amenity, and they judge a community on how quickly they are online after move-in. A managed network gives every resident the same gigabit-class experience without a service call. Operators gain a new revenue line, fewer maintenance tickets, a network ready for smart locks and thermostats, and a differentiator that shows up in reviews and renewals.
How ResidentFi builds it
We begin with a site survey and a radio-frequency design that accounts for your construction type, floor plans, and unit density. We then install the fiber or copper backbone, switching, and access points, and configure a private network for each unit, with separate networks for staff, amenities, and building systems. Every component is monitored from our network operations center around the clock, and firmware, security updates, and capacity planning are handled by us.
What residents experience
A resident receives a network name and password at move-in, or sets their own through the resident portal, and every device in the apartment connects immediately. Printers, smart TVs, game consoles, and speakers work on the private in-unit network exactly as they would on a home router, while the resident can still roam the property on the community network. If something does not work, the resident calls or texts ResidentFi directly, 24 hours a day.

Questions
Common questions
Does managed Wi-Fi work in older buildings?
Yes. ResidentFi retrofits existing communities as well as wiring new construction. We survey the building, reuse existing pathways where they are sound, and design around concrete, plaster, and other materials that interfere with wireless signals.
Can residents still choose their own provider?
That depends on the agreement you choose. Many communities include ResidentFi service in rent or a technology fee so every unit is covered. Others offer it as an optional amenity alongside other providers. We structure the program around your goals.
How fast is the service?
Networks are designed for gigabit-class speeds in every unit, backed by dedicated fiber capacity sized to the number of units and scaled as usage grows.
