Television has changed

Most residents stream, but many still want live sports, local news, and the channels they grew up with, and senior communities and student housing often include television in the package. Internet-delivered television gives every unit a full channel lineup through an app on the smart TV, phone, or tablet, with none of the boxes, remotes, and coax that traditional cable required.

How it is delivered

Channels arrive at the property over a dedicated video connection and travel the same wired and wireless network that carries internet. Residents open the app on their television, sign in with their unit credentials, and watch live or recorded programming. A bulk video agreement sets one per-unit price for the whole community.

Common-area screens

Lobbies, fitness centers, sports lounges, and leasing offices get the same channels on commercial displays, with the ability to show community announcements and digital signage alongside programming. Licensing for public viewing areas is included in the design.

Together with internet and phone
